Your Responsibilities

As a tenant, you’re expected to:

  • Pay your rent on time, as agreed in your tenancy agreement

  • Use the property for residential purposes only

  • Keep the home clean, tidy, and well cared for

  • Report any damage or maintenance issues promptly

You must also avoid:

  • Damaging the property (intentionally or through carelessness)

  • Interfering with fire safety equipment

  • Using the property for unlawful activity

  • Disturbing neighbours’ peace and privacy

  • Exceeding the permitted number of occupants

  • Allowing illegal substances on the premises
